Itinerary
Day 1: Kochi to Munnar, (135 km)
When you arrive in Kochi, take a beautiful drive through green hills, waterfalls, and tea plantations to Munnar. When you get there, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore the area at your own pace. Spend the night in Munnar.
Day 2: A full day of sightseeing in Munnar
After breakfast, begin your tour of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, which is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. After that, head to Mattupetty Dam, which is known for its calm lake and stunning views. Go to Old Munnar Town and check out the busy market. Spend the night in Munnar.
Day 3: Drive 130 kilometers (4 hours) from Munnar to Thekkady.
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar), which is in the Western Ghats and is known for its wildlife and spice fields. There are tigers, elephants, sambar deer, wild boar, and other species that reside there. Check in at your hotel when you arrive there. Then, go to the famous spice farms that smell like vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, and other spices. This is more expensive. You can go to Periyar National Park, witness a cultural show, or enjoy a boat ride on the lake. Stay the night in Thekkady.
Day 4: Drive 160 kilometers (4 hours) from Thekkady to Alleppey.
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, which is sometimes called "East Venice." Alleppey is one of the best destinations to visit in Kerala's backwaters since it has houseboat cruises, boat races, beautiful beaches, and clean water. Check in when you get to the hotel. You can do whatever you want with your day, or you can take a boat trip around the backwaters if you want. The old lighthouse, Alappuzha Beach, Mullakkal Temple, CSI Christ Church, and Punnamada Lake are all close by. Stay in Alleppey for the night.
Day 5: Leaving Kochi
After breakfast, drive back to Kochi Airport to catch your journey home. The tour concludes with a lot of fantastic memories.
